Tammora Golder

Tammorra L.M. Golder is the Founder and Steward Owner of Beauty for Ashes

Foundation, an established non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for patient
support and care for individuals and families impacted by cancer. The Foundation was
birthed from a powerful open vision Tammorra received in October 2023, where she
witnessed a transformative scene of women parading through a sanctuary, waving
healing banners—symbolizing hope, faith, and recovery. This vision inspired her to
create a platform for cancer survivors and their loved ones to share their stories and find
strength in community, echoing the promise of Isaiah 61:3 to bring beauty from ashes. Tammorra’s mission became even more personal following the transition of her beloved mother, Marjorie Ann Bennett, to whom she provided loving support through her cancer journey.

This experience opened Tammorra’s eyes to the overwhelming need for non-medical support—not just for patients, but for families facing the physical, emotional, and financial stresses of a cancer diagnosis. Driven by compassion and a deep sense of purpose, she expanded her initial vision into the Beauty for Ashes Foundation, officially established on November 20, 2025.

In addition to her many roles, Tammorra serves faithfully as the First Lady of New Bethel Tabernacle, where her husband, Bishop Cecil E. Golder, Jr., has shepherded God’s people for 13 years, and as the First Lady of the Western Nigeria Council.  Of their blessed union, God has gifted them with two sons, Joseph and Elisha Golder.  She is a licensed and ordained minister in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) and joyfully leads as President of the Women’s Ministry of the Apostolic Bible Students’ Association (A.B.S.A.) of Indiana’s State Council, 4th Episcopal District of the P.A.W., Inc.

Today, the Foundation stands as a beacon of hope, advocacy, and holistic support for those navigating the challenges of cancer. A Certified Life Coach, Tammorra is deeply committed to empowering others who face difficult challenges. Her servant leadership is evident in her advocacy for individuals with cancer, her focus on restoring relationships, and her dedication to family reunification. Tammorra is the author of “Empower Her with SMART Grows: 40-DayDevotional Journal” and co-author of “No Matter What You Can Make It. ”With over 25 years of experience as a Licensed Indiana Certified Teacher and Building Administrator, Tammorra has served in various educational leadership roles in the Metropolitan School Districts of Indiana, including teacher, district administrator, Director of Student Services, Assistant Director of Human Resources, and Building Administrator.
